About Tea & Tales

Tea & Tales started with a simple idea: a good book gets even better with a cup of tea beside it. At Van Oldenbarneveltstraat 142A in Rotterdam we brought the two together, in a bookshop and tea house in one.

What you will find here

Our shelves hold English and Dutch romantasy, fantasy, cozy fantasy and classics. Our hearts belong to special editions with sprayed edges. You will also find premium loose-leaf tea with our own storytelling blends, bookmarks, honey, syrup, book nooks and book-shaped bags.

A place to stay

The shop is made for reading. Bring your own book or start right away on the one you just bought, with a pot of tea or an iced tea next to you. On some evenings the door stays open longer for the book club, silent reading together or a midnight release.

Online too

Live further away? The shop and the webshop share the same stock, so what you see online is really here on the shelf. We pack every parcel ourselves, and gift-wrap it on request.
