How to brew Storytelling Tea

Allow 3 grams per cup of around 220 millilitres, or 13 grams per litre. A heaped teaspoon comes close to that.

Brew green and white tea with water at 70 degrees Celsius, 2 to 3 minutes. Black tea and oolong need boiling water at 100 degrees and 3 to 5 minutes. Rooibos and herbal infusions steep the longest: 100 degrees and 5 to 8 minutes.

The exact brewing instructions are on the product page for each blend, down to the gram.

A note on caffeine and herbs

Two things to know before you choose.

Caffeine. Green, white, black and oolong tea naturally contain caffeine. The rooibos and the herbal infusions don't. Looking for a cup for the evening, take a look at The Moon Garden or The Alchemist.

Herbs. Some blends contain herbs with a strong effect, such as the valerian root in The Moon Garden. Are you pregnant or taking medication? Then check with your doctor or pharmacist. The ingredients are on the product page for each blend.
