Brielle and Bear: Project Fairytale : Book 2

The fairy tale stalls on exam week, a cheerleader and an ex who turns up again.

In Brielle and Bear: Project Fairytale, book 2 of Salomey Doku's series, Brielle is in the middle of her studies at Once Upon a Time University. She is living her fairy tale, except that she cannot bring herself to say the most important thing: what she feels for Bear. While she hesitates, Bear spends more and more time with cheerleader Sasha, and her ex Pavão reappears on the scene. After the summer Brielle decides to try again and rewrite her own fairy-tale rules, with the Masquerade Ball on the horizon.

A young adult romance in graphic novel form, drawn entirely in colour, with the same warm, dreamy style as book one. Lovely from around thirteen, and a treat if you love campus stories, miscommunication that makes you groan softly and a ball where everything comes to a head. English edition; read Once Upon a Time first and everything will fall into place.
