Hof van doorns en rozen is a book by Sarah J. Maas. This Dutch edition is a 424 page paperback, translated by Gerdien Beelen.

What is Hof van doorns en rozen about?

The forest where nineteen-year-old Feyre lives is a cold, bleak place during the long winter months. Her chances of survival, and those of her family, depend on her ability to hunt. When she sees a deer being chased by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting for the prey. But to win she has to kill the wolf, and that comes at a price. Not long after, a beastly creature appears to demand retribution. When she is dragged to the feared faerie realm of Prythian, Feyre discovers that her captor is not a beast, but Tamlin, one of the deadliest immortal magical beings ever known.

While she stays on his estate, her icy, hostile feelings for Tamlin turn into a fiery passion that makes every lie and warning about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae go up in smoke. But an ancient, evil shadow is growing over the land, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or Tamlin and his world will be doomed forever.
