Release date: Tuesday 27 October 2026. Dutch paperback, published by Van Goor.

The sixth book in the Hof van doorns en rozen series is called Hof van versplinterde harmonieën. In English this book is called A Court of Splintered Harmony, with the subtitle The Valkyrie Cycle: Movement I.

What is Hof van versplinterde harmonieën about?

Koschei the Deathless is stirring, after centuries bound to a mountain lake. His coming return threatens not only Prythian, but the human lands beyond it. The Night Court is still weakened by the war with Hybern, and betrayal and painful revelations have broken the bonds within the Inner Circle. To survive the darkness, Feyre, Rhysand and their court must find a way to restore the splintered harmony around them.

What was broken will be remade.

What is the Valkyrie Cycle?

Sarah J. Maas wrote one continuous story in four movements and split it across several books. Book 6 is Movement I. Book 7, Hof van vergane melodieën, brings together Movements II and III and comes out on 12 January 2027. Movement IV is still being written.

How our reviews work

After an order or an event you get an email with your own link. A review left through that link gets the Verified buyer label. Readers in our app can rate a book too. They only get that label if they bought the book from us. We read every text before it goes online. We only remove swearing, personal details and spam. We show positive and negative reviews alike. The score is the average of all stars.
