The Arachnid

The hauntingly beautiful second book in the historical gothic romance Poisoner series, where Alina Lis finds herself in hiding from her vampiric ex-lover, Silas. They’re a couple deadly as sin, and as intoxicating as a sip of poison . . . She was once his. He has no intention of letting her go. Two years after fleeing London society, Alina Lis has found a new life in America, leading a commune of women like herself, with the greater purpose of experimenting on the Vipera. But peace, she learns, is as fragile as a spider’s web in winter. Because Silas Forbes, the very Vipera who once claimed her, hasn’t forgotten. His thirst for Alina fuels him to track her down at any cost, and he’s brought along Luka Novikov for the hunt — a man who betrayed her, forever marked by the poisoner’s kiss and bound to Silas in blood and debt. With Silas and Luka back in her life, everything around Alina begins to unravel. The walls she’s built are no defence against a predator like Silas, or the dangerous pull he still holds. When the human and Vipera worlds suddenly collide, threatening all she’s fought to protect, can Alina let go of the past and put her fate in the hands of two villianous immortals she once swore to never trust again?
