The Dare

Her sorority dares her to seduce the most popular hockey player on campus.

The Dare by Elle Kennedy closes the Briar U series as book 4 and centres on a student who was looking for a fresh start. Instead she ends up in a sorority where the atmosphere is anything but sisterly, and where she is given a dare she cannot really refuse: seduce Conor Edwards. Conor sees through the game at once, but to her surprise suggests they simply play along and pretend to be a couple. The longer that fake relationship lasts, the more she notices that there is much more behind his charm.

A new adult sports romance with fake dating, lots of humour and a surprisingly tender undercurrent. Each book follows a different couple, so this is a fine place to jump in. English-language paperback of almost four hundred pages, just right for readers of The Play and Icebreaker.
