Can you start with this book?

No, read Fourth Wing first. This edition belongs to the same series of special editions, so if you have book 1 in Wing and Claw on your shelf, this one fits beside it. The Dutch translation is called Een ijzeren vlam and is in our Fourth Wing collection.
