The East Wind Hardcover

She frees the East Wind from a jar, and pays for it with a dangerous bargain.

The East Wind by Alexandria Warwick is book 4 in the Four Winds series and follows Min of Marles, who works in an apothecary where potions are brewed from captured immortals. When she releases Eurus, the East Wind, he takes her to his enchanted château on an island. There they strike a deal: Min brews the poison he wants to use against his enemies, and in return she gets her freedom back. To reach those enemies they have to travel to the City of the Gods, where Eurus competes in a ruthless tournament.

Warwick blends Greek mythology with fairy-tale motifs from Rapunzel and the story of Cupid and Psyche, and holds the tension between desire and betrayal right to the end. Romantasy for anyone who loves hostile allies and a smouldering build-up. This English hardcover runs to over four hundred pages and follows on from The North Wind, The West Wind and The South Wind.
