The Queen of Nothing (A Novel of Elfhame) : Where TikTok's Faerie Obsession Began

Exiled from Elfhame, Jude is queen of nothing, until her sister needs her help.

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black is book 3 of The Folk of the Air and begins with Jude Duarte in the human world, where, after being exiled by Cardan, she is biding her time with her brother and sisters. When her sister Taryn asks her for a favour that can only be settled in Elfhame, Jude seizes the chance to go back, even though there is plenty of old hurt between the two of them. In Faerie, a curse turns out to be upsetting the balance between the courts, and to break it Jude has to go further than she ever intended.

With this book Black concludes her series with the mix that made it so big: court intrigue, dangerous faeries and a heroine who would rather manipulate than beg. Young adult fantasy for readers from around fourteen, and the natural next step once you have finished The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King. This English paperback carries the subtitle A Novel of Elfhame.
