Bacanha organic cardamom syrup 400 ml
Cardamom is the spice that gives chai its recognisable character: fresh, spicy and subtly peppery, with a floral undertone. In syrup form it is a good deal easier to measure out than ground cardamom, which quickly takes over the whole cup, and it dissolves at once.
In tea
A splash in black tea with warm milk and you have a chai in seconds. Good in rooibos too, or in a cold oolong.
In coffee
One pump in a latte gives a warm, botanical depth that leans towards Scandinavian cardamom coffee.
Baking
Through batter, dough or the base of a dessert. Cardamom and citrus work particularly well together.
