Premium wildflower honey from the Berry 500 g

Wildflower honey does not come from fields but from whatever grows by itself: verges, hedgerows, meadows and the edges of woods. In the Berry, the rolling country around Sancerre, that means a remarkably varied range of flowers, and you taste it back.

Taste and texture
Light and fresh, with a soft floral character and a refined sweetness that does not cling. Despite the name this is not a heavy honey. In mildness it sits between acacia honey and ordinary wildflower honey, with just a little more character than the first.

Where it comes from
From the Cher and the hills of the Sancerrois, gathered from the first flowers of the Berry. Our honey comes from a family beekeeping business that has been going since 1991 and follows the blossom across France with more than a thousand hives.

How to use it
The 500 g jar is meant for anyone who uses honey every day. Good in almost any tea, over yoghurt, on bread and in dressings. Because the taste does not dominate, this is the most versatile of the six.

Crystallising
Turns grainy over time, which is normal. Stand the jar for half an hour in hand warm water of about 40 degrees to make it runny again. Not in the microwave and not in boiling water.
